  • On the first day, more than twenty educational establishments—including primary and secondary schools—have booked educational visits to Ciudadenergía and Master Battery for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Móstoles (Madrid), 10 April 2026.– The 1st ‘Generando Futuro’ Academic and Career Guidance Fair opens its doors in Móstoles as a venue offering direct information to students and their families, organised by Móstoles Desarrollo in collaboration with the Department of Education.

The event is aimed particularly at students in Year 10 and the Sixth Form, at a crucial time when they must define their academic path and make decisions about their future education and careers.

The fair brings together universities, vocational training centres, public institutions and companies in a single venue, offering a broad overview of the options available upon completion of their studies and helping to guide them towards the job market. Through information stands, young people can learn first-hand about the training opportunities and career prospects associated with each field.

Ciudadenergía, a space open to the educational community

Ciudadenergía and Master Battery took part in the first day of the event, where they engaged with the educational community and presented their educational initiatives in the field of energy, aimed at primary schools, secondary schools and vocational training centres.

During its presentation, Ciudadenergía highlighted its role as a space open to the public, bringing knowledge of energy technologies to life through real-world experiences, such as the Master Battery facilities and their renewable energy and off-grid energy storage systems.

Through the Master Battery – UPM Chair, information was also provided on career opportunities linked to renewable energy storage, engineering studies and the growing demand for green talent that this sector will face in the coming years.

On this first day, more than twenty educational institutions —including primary schools, secondary schools, vocational training centres and employment training centres— have coordinated their visits to Ciudadenergía for the 2026/2027 academic year.

Building a Future and Employability

The event has facilitated direct contact between the invited companies and the students, featuring workshops and practical activities that enable students to learn about different professions and ask questions directly to professionals, thereby helping them make more informed choices. Furthermore, the fair is open in the afternoon to encourage family participation, reinforcing their role in the academic and career guidance process.

The initiative has seen a significant turnout of students and teachers, highlighting the educational community’s interest in this type of event. In this regard, the fair has established itself as a highly positive initiative for fostering, from the educational foundation upwards, profiles aligned with the employability needs of the future.
