Juan Carlos Hernández presented Ibrahim Plasencia with the MASTER BATTERY Award for the best academic record in the Master's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering of the ETSIDI-UPM

• The Prize awarded to the engineer Ibrahim Plasencia recognises his effort and academic excellence as a student of the XIII Promotion of the Master's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering.

Madrid (Spain) 04.07.24.- Through Ciudadenergía, the CEO of Master Battery, Juan Carlos Hernández, participated in the graduation ceremony and presentation of diplomas to the graduates of the bachelor's and master's degrees who have completed their studies during the 2022/23 academic year at the School of Industrial Engineering and Design (ETSIDI) of the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM).
Master Battery and Ciudadenergía have sponsored the Prize for the best academic record of the XIII Promotion of the Master's Degree in Electromechanical Engineering which has been awarded by the ETSIDI-UPM to Ibrahim Plasencia Castilla, graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of La Laguna, promotion 2018/22.
His Master's thesis, "Design and development of an IoT Sensor Communicated with a Central Node for the Measurement of Solar Resource in Vehicles with Photovoltaic Integration", aimed to create a portable device to measure and analyse data on solar irradiance on the surface of the vehicle, temperature, location and orientation.
These awards, sponsored by companies and Official Colleges that collaborate with the UPM, recognise the effort and academic excellence of the students selected by the ETSIDI and highlight the relationship between the university and companies in knowledge transfer tasks that benefit society.
The event took place on 14 June in the Auditorium "Marcelino Camacho" of the CCOO headquarters in Madrid and was chaired by the Rector of the UPM, Guillermo Cisneros, who highlighted the preparation of the graduates as well as the work of the ETSIDI and its positioning at national and international level in the field of Industrial Engineering and Design.
