The Master Battery Chair - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid announces the Master Thesis Awards on Energy Storage
The Master Battery - UPM Chair in Intelligent Energy Storage Systems Research, as a result of the agreement signed between Master Battery and the Polytechnic University of Madrid, announces the announcement of two awards for the best Master's Thesis (TFM) in the field of energy storage with electrochemical batteries. This initiative seeks to promote applied research and recognise young talent in a key area for the energy transition.
The Chair, created to promote university-company collaboration in projects with a high technological impact, includes among its main activities support for training, the transfer of equipment, internships, and the promotion of knowledge about energy storage through conferences, awards and cultural activities.
Prizes awarded
- Award for the Best Master's Thesis of the ERMA Master's Degree
Aimed at students of the Master's Degree in Renewable Energies and Environment (ERMA), this award recognises the best TFM focused on energy storage technologies. The prize money is €1,000 gross.

Aimed at students of the Master's Degree in Energy Engineering (MUIE), this award values the quality and applicability of work related to energy storage in electrochemical batteries. The prize is also worth €1,000 gross.
