Master Battery participates in the Power & Energy Tanzania 2025 Fair and promotes its internationalisation with the launch of its Delegation in this region of the African continent

  • After analysing the deficiencies of the region's electrical system, Master Battery proposes the ZZ Inverter with integrated regulator, a pioneering innovation that strengthens its position in Africa and opens up new opportunities for collaboration.

Dar es Salaam (Tanzania - AFRICA), 9 October 2025.. Master Battery a Spanish company specialising in energy storage solutions for renewables and batteries, participated as an exhibitor at the Power & Energy Tanzania 2025 trade fair, held in Dar es Salaam from 8 to 10 October. This event is the main gathering for the energy sector in East Africa, bringing together companies, institutions and international agents committed to promoting the energy transition in the region.

Master Battery's presence at this fair is part of its internationalisation strategy and the launch of its new international branch, aimed at strengthening its presence in emerging markets with high energy potential, such as this region of the African continent. The Matemwe branch is located on the northeast coast of the Zanzibar archipelago in Tanzania. With this move, Master Battery is advancing its goal of consolidating its international network and opening up new markets for Spanish energy storage.

Positive balance and opportunities for expansion

The Master Battery team, deployed to Tanzania, has analysed the problems of the electricity grid in the region and proposed the development of a specific solution: the ZZ Inverter, which incorporates an integrated current regulator. Master Battery thus becomes the first company to achieve this, placing itself ahead of its competitors for the execution of projects in the area.

Participation in Power & Energy Tanzania has been very positive for Master Battery, both in terms of visibility and strategic contacts with local and international players. The company held meetings with representatives of Tanzanian institutions, industry associations and multilateral organisations, such as the Tanzania Energy Association (TEA) and the Spanish Economic and Commercial Office in Dar es Salaam (ICEX), with the aim of exploring possible partnerships and joint projects in the field of solar energy.

During the fair, Master Battery presented its catalogue of industrial batteries, hybrid storage solutions and integrated solar self-consumption systems, highlighting its experience in sustainable electrification projects, energy efficiency and support for communities with limited access to the electricity grid.

Tanzania, a market with great potential for solar energy and storage

Tanzania is emerging as one of the most dynamic markets in East Africa in the field of renewable energy. The country has high levels of solar radiation and a growing demand for distributed generation solutions, especially in rural areas. Currently, major projects are under development, such as the 18 MW solar plant in Zanzibar and various hydroelectric and power transmission initiatives.

The Tanzanian government is also promoting active policies for energy transition, digitalisation and sustainability, in line with international programmes such as the European Union's Global Gateway. In this context, Master Battery is fully prepared to offer technology, expertise and solutions tailored to the needs of the African market.

Commitment to sustainable energy

With this participation, Master Battery reinforces its commitment to the development of clean and sustainable energy, contributing to the expansion of solar self-consumption and universal access to energy. The company will continue to drive forward its international expansion plan with the aim of positioning itself as a benchmark in energy storage and ecological transition in Africa and other emerging markets.
