Master Battery provides batteries to the Polytechnic University of Madrid for its Chair in energy storage research
• The batteries and storage equipment loaned by Master Battery to the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid are intended for the training and basic research of the Chair.
• The equipment has been installed at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería y Diseño Industrial of the UPM, where the Master Battery - UPM Chair in Intelligent Energy Storage Systems Research is based.
30.01.25.- Madrid (Spain).- Within the framework of the agreement for the creation of the Chair in Intelligent Energy Storage Systems Research, created by Master Battery and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM), the transfer and installation of accumulation and battery equipment has been carried out at the Higher Technical School of Industrial Engineering and Design (ETSIDI).
The main objective of the Master Battery - UPM Chair is to promote scientific and technological progress in the field of energy storage, one of the keys to achieving the transition to renewable energies, reducing carbon emissions and guaranteeing electrical stability.
The equipment provided and installed by Master Battery includes inverters, lithium and gel batteries, as well as complementary electrical equipment. These resources will be used to support teaching and research functions, such as laboratory practices, studies and projects focused on energy storage and conversion technologies.
To optimise learning, the equipment has digital information that allows students to access technical details and contact Master Battery technical staff directly for further information.
